About Me

My photo
Well, when I was a little girl I would spend hours flipping through the pages of a huge catalogue called "Quelle" that my father had brought from Germany. It had glossy pages full of beautiful pictures of lovely rooms, furniture and furnishing and was written in a language I could not decipher. But I think the pictures left an ever lasting impression on my mind and I grew up to be 'me' who drools not over food (or that too!) but good interior design, colors and photography. I also passionately love coffee, films, books, music, white gladioli, solitude, risotto, donuts, and my life (not exactly always in that order). I live in Bombay, India with my husband and little daughter and they both have changed my life in many beautiful ways.

THE HOME LABEL

When you are in the business of selling home decor products, styling your products beautifully & smartly plays a big role, may be the biggest role in attracting eyeballs, be it a physical store or a virtual one.  These days there is no dearth of online stores selling all sorts of home decor products but it's how well the products are displayed on their website, that gets full marks (from me :-)). As you already know by now, I'm a big sucker for styling. So today I chose to present to you, from the innumerable online stores, The Home Label as this one surely knows how to make you seriously desire their range of  exquisite and elegant decor accessories. You can tell from the design of their homepage to the photography of their selection of drool worthy decor accessories that they believe, "It's all in the details when it comes to home decor. "

A few weeks back, on a cool & breezy January afternoon I had the opportunity to meet up with the lovely, warm and vibrant team of The Home Label led by the talented, pretty, stylish and enviably famous Sussanne Roshan over champagne & canapes and lots of incessant chat on home decor. The event was their showcase of a select range of The Home Label products and also the official launch of the label's blog. So I can tell you that the Nectar Cushion or the lovely Teetar or the vintage cake stand that you ogle at on their virtual store are just as beautiful and chic in real life as they appear on their website. That integrity is what I liked the most about this new label. Because when you order from The Home Label what you see is what you get.

You can check out their entire range of home decor & styling accessories on their website
Happy shopping!
