About Me

My photo
Well, when I was a little girl I would spend hours flipping through the pages of a huge catalogue called "Quelle" that my father had brought from Germany. It had glossy pages full of beautiful pictures of lovely rooms, furniture and furnishing and was written in a language I could not decipher. But I think the pictures left an ever lasting impression on my mind and I grew up to be 'me' who drools not over food (or that too!) but good interior design, colors and photography. I also passionately love coffee, films, books, music, white gladioli, solitude, risotto, donuts, and my life (not exactly always in that order). I live in Bombay, India with my husband and little daughter and they both have changed my life in many beautiful ways.

ZEENA

In the wonderful world of 'Zeena', everything has a name. Like 'a cushion called clive'; 'a shopper called susie-spot'; or 'sally sticky tape' and 'bertie bird sticky tape'.  That's because of designer Zeena Shah's belief that this way  her creations become a part of your family, and not remain as just another cushion on your couch. This lovely thought won my heart completely when I read about her.  Zeena Shah is a graduate from Chelsea School of Art in printed textile design. She quit her job in 2009 to start her own brand of hand printed textiles - Zeena. Now she not only makes a living by doing what she loves the most but also does a great job at it. In her East London studio, Zeena Shah makes unique handmade and hand screen printed home accessories such as cushions, blankets & throws, pin cushions, tote bags and hand crafted stationery. Zeena's products are found both in the UK with various stockists and internationally.

You can check out her collection and details of each lovely item here and learn more about her here.
