I know I know! I have been a bit irregular with my posts lately. Not that I intend it to be a weekly affair but priorities change, don't they! For over a month now, I have been working very hard... sourcing products for Hamsa, taking pictures of the products to put them up on Hamsa's Facebook Page, running the makeshift store from home and taking decisions (most importantly) as to what and what not can be a part of Hamsa. Well, starting your own venture is not easy at all, and running it successfully is even tougher. And here I am, still trying to find my ground and trying to build a brand that will help and inspire people to fall in love with their homes for the first time or all over again. In the back of my mind, I have a desire to open my own store where total strangers will stop in front of my shop window to admire the products and then walk in. Aha! I so want to make it happen. Alas! I wish I was in some other city where real estate rates were not so astronomical and where I could afford a little garden adjoining my store which would sell fresh flowers. Too many dreams, no! Now you see what is keeping me away from blogging! I need to work harder to make all my dreams come true someday. Till then I will just plan how my little store Hamsa is going to look. And today I will share with you my idea of that perfect home decor store with a cafe, where you will want to spend the whole day just shopping and chilling.
Will Hamsa have a red inviting door with a colorful bunting or deep purple one! |
Will sunlight stream through the store window in the morning? |
Will it be large enough to have a separate section for Hamsa for Kids! I will ensure it does : ) |
Anything your heart desires
