About Me

My photo
Well, when I was a little girl I would spend hours flipping through the pages of a huge catalogue called "Quelle" that my father had brought from Germany. It had glossy pages full of beautiful pictures of lovely rooms, furniture and furnishing and was written in a language I could not decipher. But I think the pictures left an ever lasting impression on my mind and I grew up to be 'me' who drools not over food (or that too!) but good interior design, colors and photography. I also passionately love coffee, films, books, music, white gladioli, solitude, risotto, donuts, and my life (not exactly always in that order). I live in Bombay, India with my husband and little daughter and they both have changed my life in many beautiful ways.

ASH'S COZY BOMBAY APARTMENT

Today, I will take you on a tour of a lovely cozy Bombay apartment of my very dear friend Aswathy (Ash, as we call her). So, this is the second of Single Girls' Cozy Apartments series on this blog and also my second house tour, where I had the fun and freedom of doing the photo shoot and styling (I am seriously contemplating this as a profession. Any takers!). Ash is a lawyer by profession, who has a deep love and passion for arts and crafts and brings warmth to a place just by her presence. She loves her home dearly and keeps adding new colors and ideas to her super cozy and very inviting apartment. As she jokingly says, her house is always in a 'work in progress' condition.  She loves to travel whenever her busy corporate life allows her to take a break, and sets off to faraway lands. During her travels to various less touristy places, she picks up unique handicrafts for her apartment. Her tiny apartment reflects her warm and friendly nature and her love for arts and crafts.
